This course includes 3 group sessions and 1 individual financial consulting session. In the group sessions, we'll start at the very basics: - Why is investing so important? - What you need to know about your money if you live in Germany - What is the “pension gap” (Rentenlücke) and what does it mean to you (even if you earn well today)? - What happens to your money if you don’t invest it? - What to invest in? - Stocks, bonds ETFs - What types of investments are there, and which ones are right for you? - The benefits and challenges of long-term investing - Getting started with investing - easy, practical steps you can follow - Building “the perfect portfolio” - Popular questions we’ll answer in the sessions (among many more); - Do I have to stick to monthly deposits? Can I invest whenever I have available money? - I have an available amount; do I invest all of it at once? - How does taxation work? - How to adjust my investments if I’m planning a real estate purchase in the coming years? - Which brokers/platforms are recommended? - And any other question you never dared to ask Once you have the basic knowledge, we'll sit down for a 1:1 consulting session. This is where we’ll discuss your individual circumstances, your needs and wants; - Based on your feedback we’ll determine your desired risk profile - We’ll review your existing investments. if you have any - Resolve any financial dilemmas you might have - Finally, make 100% sure you know what your next steps are
